Megan Alexander is an Emmy nominated national news correspondent. She wears a variety of hats, including host, reporter, author, actress and speaker. Megan works as a correspondent on the longest-running syndicated national news magazine television show Inside Edition, covering all the major awards shows, 9 Super Bowls, interviewing Presidents and breaking national news stories. For the 2015/2016 seasons, Megan was a Special Correspondent for CBS Television covering “Thursday Night Football”. She currently announces the US Women’s Soccer games. She was the recipient of a Telly award for hosting the country music event “Hat’s Off to the 80’s and 90’s”. Megan serves as an occasional guest commentator on CNN and Fox News. As an actress, she has appeared in the ABC primetime drama “Nashville”, CMT’s “Still the King”, the BET network’s “Back to the Goode Life” and the feature films “God’s Not Dead 3”, “Redeemed” “Heartbeats” and “Space Warriors”. One of her first acting gigs was appearing in Josh Turner’s music video for “What it Ain’t”. Megan previously worked for KENS5, the CBS affiliate in San Antonio, TX, hosting a morning show called “Great Day SA”. Megan sits on the Board of Trustees for the Hugh O’Brian Youth Foundation.
Simon & Schuster published her two best-selling books. “Faith in the Spotlight- thriving in your career while staying true to your beliefs” and a children’s book called “ONE MORE HUG”. As a popular Keynote Speaker on the topics of Faith and Work, Megan hosts the Inspirational Country Music Awards each year. She is married and has 2 sons and a daughter. Her very first concert was the Oak Ridge Boys and her favorite interview of all time is Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton.
