Zack Bennett

Zack Bennett has been with WSM Radio since 2021. He currently serves as the station’s Assistant Program Director and is host of The Opry Warm-Up Show & Opry Star Spotlight every Saturday night as well as the WSM Gospel Hour each Sunday morning. Born in Nashville, raised in Mt. Juliet, and a proud alumnus of Middle Tennessee State University, Zack literally grew up listening to WSM and the Opry.

Zack has worked in the radio industry since 1999. Over that time, he’s been a nationally syndicated country radio personality, in addition to his primary work on various stations here in Nashville and just down the road in Huntsville, Alabama.Zack also has nearly two decades of experience working as a producer for sports and talk radio shows.

Zack can often be seen hosting Opry Plaza Parties as well as events on the PNC Plaza at Ryman Auditorium during the Summer months. In 2026, he became one of the Public Address announcers for the Nashville Sounds baseball club. He and his wife reside in Smyrna.
