Bill Whyte

Since he was sixteen, Missouri native Bill Whyte has been writing songs, entertaining folks and making people laugh as well as hosting award winning morning radio shows.  Bill is an accomplished radio broadcaster and has helmed morning shows in Cincinnati, Milwaukee, Indianapolis and Nashville.  In 2012 Bill received the highest honor for country radio when he was inducted into the Country Radio Broadcast Hall of Fame.  He’s won a CMA Award for “Air Personality of the Year” in 1991 and has also been awarded a Gavin Award for “Large Market Broadcast Personality of The Year”… as well as an AIR Award for  “Best New Radio Show” in Nashville.

As a songwriter, Bill’s songs have been recorded by Ray Stevens, Joe Nichols, Cledus T. Judd, Linda Davis, Brady Seals, Darin and Brooke Aldridge, and others. And as an entertainer, Bill travels and plays shows across the country with his “Evening In The Round” show with Grammy winner Linda Davis and her husband Lang Scott as well as his “Hits and Grins” songwriter trio.

Bill is married to his wife Kathy and has a grown daughter named Heather. They reside in Old Hickory, TN.
