Legendary country superstar Randy Travis will make a special appearance on the Grand Ole Opry stage Saturday, May 4 to celebrate his 60th birthday.  650 AM WSM and WSMonline.com have named Travis our Artist of the Month and will mark the Opry and Country Music Hall of Fame member’s 60th with a week of special promotions and programming, including Travis’ Opry birthday appearance, beginning Monday, April 29.

MerleFest happening April 25th-28th includes the Avett Brothers, Brandi Carlile, Amos Lee, Wynonna and the Big Noise, Dailey & Vincent, The Del McCoury Band, and so many more! Held on the campus of Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro, North Carolina, MerleFest is considered one of the premier music festivals in the country, serves as an annual homecoming for musicians and music fans.

The Country Music community is rallying support of fellow Grammy winning artist, John Berry, who is currently undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments for throat cancer discovered in January. The benefit, “We All Come Together" for John Berry and Music Health Alliance, will raise money to offset the medical expenses not covered by insurance for Berry and a portion of the donations will go towards Music Health Alliance.
